NEOPLASTIC GEOMETRIES A furniture icon, designed by a 20th century master. The Utrecht armchair by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld is among the most recognizable Cassina pieces. It is distinguished by unmistakable graphic repetition punctuated by the juxtaposition of elements that form right angles. The outdoor version maintains intact the characteristics of the larger Utrecht XL model. The materials were carefully studied for use in outdoor settings. To prevent water from penetrating, the recycled PET fibre batting is laminated to a water-repellent lining that envelops the internal metal structure and Okoume wood armrests.
