EXPLOSION OF LIGHT Initially presented at "An Exhibition for Modern Living" at the Detroit Institute of Arts in 1949, this model was crafted in the Eames Office prototype laboratory using automotive components and brass tubes of different sizes inserted into a wooden sphere. Galaxy went into production for the first time by Cassina in 2024 and is also available in a large size. FINISH Matte black, matte white or polished aluminium. LIGHT RODS 36 of different lengths (15, 30 and 45 cm for the standard version, or 25, 40 and 55 cm for the large version).
